Supplier FAQ

Wingledger is being built for aerospace suppliers who need a clearer way to organise opportunity details, supplier-entered RFQs and catalogue information around a potential quote response. Today, the supplier workspace provides a private catalogue and RFQ records. Bringing those pieces together into a quote draft is planned.

You can maintain a private supplier catalogue, explicitly approve individual items, and enter RFQ details with supporting files. These are saved in your supplier workspace. Catalogue approval is a supplier action; items are not approved automatically.

A supplier must explicitly approve each catalogue item in the workspace. This live item-level approval marks supplier-provided catalogue information for potential use in the planned quote workflow. It does not approve a quote response.

In the supplier workspace, create an RFQ, enter its details and attach the relevant files. The RFQ and its files are saved as a workspace record. The app does not use that record to create a quote draft today; combining supplier-entered RFQs with approved catalogue items is planned.

In the planned quote workflow, a person is intended to review and approve each response before it is sent. That pre-send approval step is planned, not available today. The live approval action currently applies to individual catalogue items.

No. The combined quote-draft workflow is planned and is not available today. It is intended to use supplier-entered RFQ details and approved catalogue items to prepare a response for human review. Automated quote drafting and sending are not current capabilities.

No. Automated mailbox ingestion is not available. For the current workflow, a supplier enters RFQ details directly in the workspace and uploads the supporting files.
